So happy to finally share this new painting that I started last year while I was in beautiful Tofino, British Columbia. One day while my friend Felecia and I were at the beach, a crow landed near us and started saying ‘hello’ over and over. I swear it was saying the word hello and hoping we would give it food. I imagined an old wizard that had been transformed into a crow by his rival. It was so surreal and of course I became inspired to paint this portrait of the talking crow. I based the landscape background on a nearby lake, Kennedy Lake, which was absolutely magical at sunset. Here finally is the finished piece 🥰
