Jacqueline Ross

Jacqueline says that the reason art inspires her and why she likes it so much is because of how relaxing it is. Her favourite type of art is drawing but she is very excited to try sculpting one day! Her favourite artists are Ricky Schaede and Bob Ross!  Some other hobbies that she enjoys are collecting and sorting Pokémon cards, swimming, looking for cool rocks, looking for bugs and organizing things with music on. She likes art lessons with Ricky for several reasons, including that he is kind and patient. She also likes how encouraging Ricky is and she loves and is inspired by all of his art around the studio.

Jacqueline loves bugs but especially moths and praying mantis'. She loves when bugs crawl on her (even her face!) but no spiders! She is homeschooled, and she loves dinosaurs. She likes gymnastics and is very flexible.

From Ricky: Jacqueline is an incredibly talented young artist with a wonderful attitude and great eye for detail.  The level of her art at such a young age is quite astounding.  I appreciate her love for the natural world and her curiosity and creativity.  I enjoy geeking out with Jacqueline over moths, turtles and other animals, Pokemon, video games, and more.  Since working together in private lessons, we have created some truly awesome pieces together and I love being able to create such detailed, thoughtful pieces with a student who is equally as excited to create them.  Thanks for being my student Jacqueline!
