Mason Andrews

Mason Andrews is a 15 year old artist living in Orangeville, Ontario.  He has been drawing all his life and draws because it brings him joy.  When he first started to draw, he doodled all the time, drawing adorable little characters.  Mason started taking art lessons with Ricky when he was six years old.  He admires Ricky, sees him as a mentor, and enjoys the supportive and creative vibe.  Mason's favourite artist is Tite Kubo.  Mason enjoys drawing characters from fiction, specifically anime characters, and his favourite medium is alcohol markers.  Outisde of art, he loves gaming, swimming, manga, and scary movies!

From Ricky: Mason has always been a talented young artist with an awesome attitude in class.  In his recent years, his talent has taken off into the stratosphere and he has been creating the most amazing drawings of his favourite anime characters with inking pens and alcohol markers.  Mason's work with alcohol markers has reached a professional level and I am constantly blown away by his latest pieces.  Not only is Mason an excellent artist in class, he is always working on his art at home to further his skills, and he is a wonderful presence in the studio and is always supporting and encouraging his fellow artists.  Thank you Mason for being a part of the Ricky Schaede Art Studio!
