Jacob Cross

Jacob Cross is a young artist from Shelburne, Ontario.  He finds art insopiring because he can recreate sketches, scenes and characters from his favourite movies and animated shows.  It makes him happy because he can put characters into his own stories that he draws and paints himself.  His favourite type of art is animation and his favourite artists are John Lasseter (Pixar), Walt Disney, and Scott Cawthon (creator of FNAF- Five Nights at Freddy's).  His other hobbies include watching movies, collecting movie merchandise, and travelling to different places.  Jacob loves going to the Ricky Schaede Art Studio because Ricky encourages him to create the art that he is truly interested in, and has taught him many different types of art including paper mache, painting, watercolour and clay art.  Jacob once got to take an animation class at Walt Disney World taught by a real Disney animator.

From Ricky: Jacob has the best attitude every time he shows up to the studio and always knows exactly what he wants to draw, paint or sculpt, he is overflowing with ideas!  I love the unique style he draws with and the bold colours he uses to bring his characters to life.  His love of animation is infectious and I find myself interested in the movies and shows that Jacob draws inspiration from with his art.  Jacob is an awesome guy and is always a great presence in the studio.  Jacob, never stop making art!  Thank you for being a part of the Ricky Schaede Art Studio!
