Special Tuesday After School Sculpting Program with Ricky!

Students Ages 9-15! This class is for students who love to sculpt! Spend 7 weeks exploring a variety of sculpture mediums including air dry clay, oven bake polymer clay, plaster gauze and plasticine. Students will have a lot of creative freedom in deciding what they wish to sculpt and will be encouraged to add their unique creative voice to every piece. A few sculptures will be brought to life with acrylic paints and students will have access to glass crystals, glass eyes, and a variety of other embellishments. Students will learn how to build sculptures using armatures, how to ensure structural stability, and how to infuse every sculpture with life and personality. We will aim for each artist to create 4 finished sculptures in this 7-week program.
