Materials List:
Students are required to bring their own drawing kit for this class. Please read below:
I do sell these supplies at my shop and would be happy to put together a kit for your young artist, either of everything they need or a few things they may be missing if they already have some of the required supplies. I'm happy to have a conversation about the supplies to see what you need and put together a kit for you to buy, please let me know if that is of interest!
Every student will need:
A Sketchbook 8x10 or 9x12, the higher quality paper the better.
Sketching pencil set (most pencil sets will give a good range like 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, but they'll be fine as long as they have at least an HB and a 6B)
Kneadable Eraser
Regular Rubber Eraser
Pencil Sharpener
Paper Blending Stump
Fine Black Inking Pen 0.5 (permanent)(Tombow is the preferred brand but Staedtler pigment liner, Pigma Micron, Write-4-All are all good brands too, but any permanent black pen with a fine tip will be great! Students can also get a set of different sizes of inking pens if they want to have more options)
A small set of coloured pencils (or a big set, the more colours the better)
Optional Items: (these items aren’t required but if students want to have a broader range of possibilities in their drawings, they can add these items to their kit)
Water Based Brush Tip Markers
Tombow Mono Zero Fine Point Eraser
Electric Eraser
Permanent Black Inking Pens in a variety of tip sizes.
